Almac Group releases 2025 Sustainability Report
December 18, 2025
Almac Group today releases our 2025 Sustainability Report, which outlines the progress on our ongoing global commitments in the key areas of people, planet and the communities where we operate.
This year we made substantial progress on our environmental based goals. We received validation from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in June of this year for both our near and long-term emissions reduction targets— a recognition of our commitment to climate action in alignment with the latest climate science. We also report notable progress in the transition to renewable energy, with 54% of global operations now powered by renewable sources.
Reflecting our commitment to programs that foster inclusive, healthy workplaces for our people, we were delighted to be a recipient of a ‘best practice’ commendation this year for employee health and wellbeing during ISO 45001 (health and safety) and ISO 14001 (environmental management) surveillance audits.
In the communities where we operate, we are proud that we supported 74 different charities through global philanthropy and reached more than 20,000 post-primary pupils through in-person and virtual outreach programs.
Alan Armstrong, Chairman and CEO, Almac Group said: “Almac’s mission to advance human health continues to guide every aspect of our work and extends beyond the work we do for our customers to ensure a healthy and more sustainable future for the world around us.”
“The achievements outlined in this report reflect the passion and perseverance of our people – individuals I am honored to work alongside. By living out our mission each day, they are collectively impacting human health across the globe”
