Almac Pharma Services Appoints New VP Finance

Almac Pharma Services, a member of the privately owned Almac Group providing innovative pharmaceutical development, manufacture and commercial services to global pharmaceutical and biotech organizations, has announced the appointment of Samantha Fitzpatrick as its Vice President of Finance.
As part of Almac Pharma Services’ executive leadership team, Samantha will oversee financial planning, analysis and accounting. In addition, she will collaborate with global department heads to progress a business partnership approach aimed at transforming financial reporting and systems to enhance availability and clarity of financial information. This will facilitate improved decision-making across all aspects of the organization and support the next phase of growth for the organization.
Samantha holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland (ICAS). She has over 15 years of experience in financial leadership roles within Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) organizations, including Irwin’s Bakery and Moy Park. She has a proven track record in supporting strategic business growth and joins Almac from Finnebrogue Artisan where she served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Financial Controller.

The appointment comes just months after Almac Pharma Services announced the completion of a custom-built, high-volume facility significantly increasing its commercial manufacturing and packaging capacity, forming part of the Group’s ongoing global expansion investment program totalling £400m.
