Applied Industrial Sciences – Chemical Sciences
Develop your skills within Almac’s Analytical departments and use a variety of analytical techniques to determine the purity, potency and shelf-life of active pharmaceutical ingredients and drug products.
You also have the option to continue your studies at Level 6 (B.Sc.) and Level 7 (M.Sc.) as a Higher Level Apprentice.
Applied Industrial Sciences – Life Sciences
Support sample management and biomarker discovery and development in Almac Diagnostic Services, where you will perform sample processing using a range of relevant laboratory techniques.
You also have the option to continue your studies at Level 6 (B.Sc.) and Level 7 (M.Sc.) as a Higher Level Apprentice.
Note: Applicants wishing to apply for a Higher Level Apprenticeship in Applied Industrial Sciences (Life Sciences) at Almac must have Biology at A-Level (or equivalent) in addition to Chemistry entry requirements.
Leading on Customer Operations
Working in our Project Management and Operation teams, this innovative Apprenticeship is a 3.5 year programme, combining academic and on-the-job learning across a number of core subject areas which will lead to achievement of a BSc Honours Degree in Leading on Customer Operations and the opportunity to continue and progress your career with Almac.
Computing
Join Almac’s Information Services department where you’ll be involved in the delivery of computing services to Almac staff by supporting service desk requests, infrastructure management and the development of software solutions for Almac projects.
Engineering
Experience working in Almac’s GMP* Manufacturing plant, using skills in both mechanical and electrical engineering to support the maintenance and calibration of equipment used in the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients.
