- The Security Manager is responsible for the management and continuous operation of the physical security, card access control, CCTV, and key control systems ensuring that the systems perform to Almac standards with minimal downtime while maintaining a compliant and secure environment for staff, visitors and business operations.
- The Security Manager is responsible to continuously initiate risk analysis with respect to the outer and inner rings of security at each site against the security measures that are in place with the objective of providing documented support to allow senior management to make educated business decisions on the implementation of risk mitigation solutions.
- Manage security projects and the relevant service contractors ensuring the responsibilities identified within the service agreements are upheld and that the service contractors activities are clearly communicated and coordinated with Almac staff to ensure efficient and effective operations are maintained.
- Write, revise and maintain the required Quality approved and internal SOP’s and forms to support the security program and ensure that they are up to date and aligned with the current processes. Ensure the security staff and service contractors accurately follow the procedures and complete the required documentation to GxP standards. SOP’s should be aligned between sites to maintain consistent security programs and operations throughout all sites.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Security training program preferred.
- 5+ years’ security management and systems experience.
- 2+ years of risk analysis and mitigation solutions experience.
- 2+ years of security project management experience including the ability to thoroughly document and communication project activities and communications.
- 2+ years’ experience in writing new procedures and processes.
- Experience with Security, Card Access and CCTV systems.
- Experience with Fire Alarm Systems.
- Experience with Technical writing that clearly defines processes and procedures.
- Experience working with DEA and Schedules II Materials Vault.
- Prior security experience in a pharmaceutical environment and GxP preferred.
- Experience with employee supervision.
- Experience with site maintenance.
