Almac Group is currently seeking a Production Operator – Summer Intern for our Souderton, PA location. The Production Operator – Summer Intern will perform assigned functions at Almac Clinical Services relevant to the packaging area ensuring that quality is maintained in products for the safety, well-being, and protection of the patient. Employee will be required to perform assigned functions within Primary Packaging Rooms (exposed product) and Secondary Packaging Rooms (no exposed product).
Hours for the role are 7am-3:10pm
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Package/Assemble/Label material as detailed in the batch document within primary or secondary production rooms while in accordance to ALMAC Clinical Services SOP’s and cGMP’s.
- Perform and ensure that thorough, routine cleaning of equipment and packaging rooms is performed according to appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s).
- Must be able to Package/Assemble/Label material as detailed in the batch document within cold conditions (2 - 8°C) as required by individual operations.
- Ensure that all appropriate Log Books and Cleaning System Forms are completed per SOP’s.
- Count and record materials required for use in packaging operations.
- Inspect and monitor quality of processed/assembled materials.

Almac Group’s 10-week internship program runs from early June to early August. We offer a supportive, friendly working environment where you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to modern industry. It’s a unique opportunity to experience many parts of the contract development and manufacturing business while making a key contribution. In addition to hands on experience in your role, interns will have the opportunity to grow their professional skills through trainings and networking events with colleagues at Almac, as well as other interns.
