The Opportunity

As a Validation Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both laboratory and manufacturing operations, ensuring that every piece of equipment and system not only runs smoothly but also meets the highest standards set by regulatory bodies. Joining our Quality Validation team, you will oversee the processes that guarantee all new and existing equipment, utilities, facilities, and computerised systems comply with Good Manufacturing Practice regulations and guidance.

The primary focus for the validation officer (analytical instrumentation) is on laboratory equipment and systems. You will take charge of preventative maintenance, performance verification, and calibration of sophisticated analytical instruments—helping our teams produce reliable, high-quality results time after time.

About you

Essential Criteria

  • GCSE (or equivalent) Grades A-C, in Mathematics and English Language
  • Third level qualification (degree or equivalent)- Where no third level qualification available, previous experience may be deemed acceptable.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing/laboratory environment.
