Almac is passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, and technologists by sparking children’s natural curiosity about the world around them through learning vital science, technology, engineering, arts and maths (STEAM) skills.
Having supported 46 schools to date through our partnership with STEAM Education Limited, we are committed to continuing this initiative to enthuse children about science, engineering and technology and potential future job roles in these areas.
Each school participating in the programme will receive their choice of a Science-in-a-Box programme, along with a training webinar, resources and support from staff at Almac and STEAM Education Ltd. The course includes five fully resourced teacher-led lessons where the children will learn about the building blocks of life, the human body and how it works. An Almac scientist can visit the school if requested by the school.
Make an enquiry"Almac have given us top quality teaching material through the PowerPoint and resources. With this excellent support our children have had excellent opportunities to experience science in real detail. The PowerPoints have made things so visual and clear that when it came to the practical activities the children were utterly enthused and engaged. The use of cheap, easily sourced material lets us use these lessons again and again. A superb initiative promoting science and scientific thinking to primary school girls and boys."

"I can honestly say that in all my time teaching, I have not loved teaching human biology as much as I am at the minute with your resources. They are fantastic. Thank you so much for allowing my class this opportunity and I hope that it may continue for years to come!"
