Joe Jordan

“I first started Almac 10 years ago as a Production Operator. Almac has since provided me with brilliant personal development opportunities and support, which has led me to progress to the role that I am currently in. As a Production Technician my daily tasks include the efficient and effective running of technical operations, in accordance with associated protocols and batch documentation whilst maintaining schedule adherence. I also work within a highly skilled motivated team to ensure that quality products are produced.

My department has a brilliant work atmosphere as there is trust, cooperation and accountability which has a positive impact on my daily life. There are lots of long-term employees which speaks well to the company culture”.

“After working as a Maintenance Engineer in the Food and Water Treatment industries, I joined Almac as a Shift Maintenance Engineer. Since moving to Almac, I have had the opportunity to progress my career gaining promotions to a Senior Engineer role before taking up an Engineer Lead position. My day-to-day role involves planning and coordinating activities associated with resolving critical breakdowns to maximise equipment availability whilst leading a dedicated team of maintenance engineers.

I am also involved in the procurement, installation and commissioning of new state of the art production equipment to ensure continued growth within the business.”
