A private company being owned by a charity is unique within the pharmaceutical industry. This uniqueness reflects on Almac culture and company atmosphere.

What was it that made you choose Almac over other companies that interested you or with which you interviewed?

I always wanted to work in the pharmaceutical industry and having experience in academia, I was looking for experiencing the latter stage of the drug development. My knowledge of the CDMO’s environment were quite limited at the start, however, Almac showed wiliness in training me up. It happened when I moved into a development chemist position from a researcher in academia and then to a Business Development Manager. I saw Almac has a good company fit where I could use my experience and knowledge but bring them further.
