Sixth Form (16-18) Work Experience
Almac’s work placement program gives pupils an insight into the drug development process, life at Almac and the variety of rewarding career paths available at Almac, both inside and outside the laboratory, through tours, conversations with staff and activities.
For pupils interested in scientific or engineering careers, our 3-day program includes a day in the W5 laboratory, Belfast, doing Biology and Chemistry experiments or an Engineering work shadow in Craigavon. Transport between Almac and W5 will be provided, as required. We also have a 2-day experience on selected dates for those interested in IT careers.
