Testimonials
“I graduated with a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Queens University and joined Almac Pharma Services 4 years ago. My previous roles at Almac have included a Technical Quality Officer in our Validation Department and a Technical Specialist within Technical Operations. I began working as a Formulation Scientist 2 years ago and have recently been promoted to a Senior Formulation Scientist. This promotion occurred via the career progression structure which offers a clear pathway for professional development.
Within my current role I have had experience working across a range of development phases to include excipient compatibility, mini-scale, bench scale, early clinical trials and commercial manufacturing for multiple projects which have utilized various equipment and manufacturing processes.”
Caoimhe Carey, Senior Formulation Development Specialist
“As a Technical Specialist, I have supported clinical campaigns, development operations and have been heavily involved with the introduction of new packaging technology into manufacturing operations. I have been given the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, clients and travel abroad.
One thing I enjoy about being a Technical Specialist at Almac is the diversity of the role and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of departmental teams, on a variety of different projects, with patient needs at the focus. A Technical Specialist at Almac will always be at the center of commercial and development manufacturing operations, providing a positive contribution to the Almac Group.”
