Almac Appoints VP Quality and Regulatory AffairsAlmac’s Diagnostic Services business unit has named Dr Stewart McWilliams as VP Quality and Regulatory Affairs for its global operations.

Stewart will be responsible for regulatory compliance of both client and internal companion diagnostic tests and maintaining quality systems to support these developments. He will also lead the regulatory strategy for Almac’s internal product pipeline.

The move is a promotion for Stewart who has been employed at Almac for over a decade and has gained considerable regulatory experience working at the most senior level with clients to support their Companion Diagnostics regulatory strategies with the FDA, EMA and more recently CFDA.

Professor Paul Harkin, MD Almac’s Diagnostic Services business unit commented “Stewart’s wealth of experience and expertise has been invaluable to our team and this promotion was the natural next step.
