Almac Launches Recruitment Drive to Fill up to 20 New Positions

Almac is creating up to 20 new positions at its headquarters in Craigavon, most of which will be “high-value” jobs, the company has announced.

The pharmaceutical development company has launched a recruitment campaign, Challenge Yourself, with jobs available ranging from project co-ordinators and project managers to supply chain managers, project leaders and design managers.

Most of the jobs will be based in Almac’s Clinical Business Units, but the company is keen to highlight that candidates do not need to have a scientific background to gain employment.

Almac is holding a recruitment day for project management positions at the Europa Hotel, Belfast, on Wednesday June 18 and staff are keen to meet anyone who thinks they fulfil the requirements for the new jobs.

Almac recently announced record pre-tax profits of £19.2m in 2013, up around 30% on the previous year.

The company also saw turnover increase, up by 8% from £300m to £325m.
