Almac Clinical Services Celebrates 10 Years in US

Almac Clinical Services, a division of the Almac Group, recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of its opening in the US. Operations began in the US at the site in Audubon, Pennsylvania in 1996 when the company employed 4 people; it now employs 300 and in addition a further 120 at its site in Durham, North Carolina. Clinical Services also employs 480 people at its Craigavon (UK) facility.

The company held a 10th anniversary gala dinner hosted by Sir Allen McClay, Chairman of the Almac Group. All 300 staff at the Audubon site were invited and Almac staff from other US and European facilities traveled to Audubon for the celebrations. Since its opening in the US, Clinical Services has achieved significant growth in the American market.

Clinical Services work with many of the leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies and have been involved in many of the largest clinical trials conducted worldwide. We currently distribute investigational clinical trial products to over 100 countries globally and this list is ever expanding.”
