Our work experience placements offer young people a fantastic opportunity to see for themselves what it is like to work in a leading global pharmaceutical contract manufacturing and development organization.
Sixth Form (16-18) Work Experience
We offer three day placements during which pupils will gain an insight into the drug development process, life at Almac and the variety of rewarding career paths available at Almac, both inside and outside the laboratory, through tours, conversations with staff and activities.
Our core program for those interested in scientific careers includes a day in the W5 laboratory, Belfast, doing Biology and Chemistry experiments. Transport between Almac and W5 will be provided, as required. For those interested in IT or Engineering careers, some sessions include a Technical Software Development Challenge or Engineering work shadow day, respectively.
