About The Role

To manage a team of people who are directly responsible for GMP manufacture of drug product for commercial and clinical supply. Remit will include the quality of the products manufactured and the efficiency and output in their specific area. The post holder will become a technical expert in a number of manufacturing process technologies and will drive continuous improvement of the area for which they are responsible.

About You

To be successful in this role, we’re looking for you to have:

· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related Scientific/Technical/Engineering discipline or

Significant experience in a supervisory role in the pharmaceutical industry.

· Previous experience of supervising highly technical manufacturing or packaging processes

· Experience in the organisation of resource (equipment and personnel) to meet scheduled output targets.

· Experience of working in a regulated environment within a formal quality system.

· Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal to include delivering presentations) and fluency in English.

· Proven ability to work effectively on own initiative and effectively contribute within a team environment.

· Proven ability to compile both narrative and numerical reports of exceptional standard.

The following criteria would also be beneficial to your application, but is not essential:

· Knowledge of pharmaceutical processing technologies

· Experience in the qualification of new process equipment and experience of new product introduction/process validation

· Excellent project leadership, organisation and planning skills with experience of working to aggressive timelines.

· Aptitude in analysing and resolving problems of a practical nature and determining root cause.
