Support the Almac Facilities Maintenance activities for the PA and NC sites. Supervise the maintenance staff and delegate work assignments as required to ensure the continuous operation of Facilities equipment and related systems while maintaining a compliant state that supports each of the Almac Business Units
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain the operations of all Facilities Systems to ensure systems are operational for all aspects of the physical plant by delegating work assignments to the maintenance staff within the Facilities including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural and architectural. Ensure that all systems are maintained and operable in order to support the continuous operation of the Facilities.
Ensure the planned and unplanned maintenance and documentation for equipment is scheduled and coordinated into the Company operational schedule and is completed by the due dates. Ensure GxP documentation for Facilities equipment maintenance activities is compliant and completed on time
Support the purchase order requisition system by submitting quotes and proposals for Facilities related supplies and services. Maintain proper parts inventory to support the continuous operation of each Almac Business Unit.
Support the health and safety program within the maintenance team including core risk assessments and equipment risk assessments. Ensure risk assessment training for staff and contractors maintain compliancy
Required Experience / Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Trade or Technical Training.
5+ years experience in Facilities Maintenance.
3+ years experience supervising personnel.
Experienced in HVAC, Electrical, Stationary Engineer and/or General Construction.
Intermediate Microsoft Products skills.
Intermediate with technical writing skills.
Preferred Experience / Education:
Trade School or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Completion of a certified Apprentice Trade Program preferred.
Maintenance experience in a pharmaceutical environment preferred.
Instrumentation calibration experience preferred.
Computerized Maintenance Management Systems preferred.
Experience with Building Management, Fire Alarm, and Security Systems preferred
